RULES

Goal
Collect exactly 10 cards in hand and shout Muffin Time.
Flow
On your turn, lay down a trap card, play an action card, or draw a card from the deck.
Win
You win if you start your turn with exactly 10 cards.
Twist
You must shout 'Muffin Time' the moment your hand hits exactly 10 cards for the win to count.

Based on the popular webtoon/animation series 'asdfmovie,' this is an extreme, no-holds-barred chaos party card game. Players do whatever it takes to get their hand to exactly 10 cards at the start of their turn, shout 'Muffin Time!', and hold onto that count until their next turn to win. Trap cards that block opponents' wins, unpredictable counters, out-of-nowhere minigames, and unfair getting-screwed-over moments run wild, constantly breaking the silence with betrayal and shouting — an unrelenting entertainment party game.

When the group is small (2-3 players), the chain-reaction chaos and sabotage payoff drops sharply; when serious, strategy-minded players who get heavily stressed by card-draw luck and unfair interference are in the group; or when someone in the group finds reading text tedious.

Scores by situation

New faces+

♡♡♡♡♡ [Crowd-pleaser] The rules take just 3 minutes to explain, and you just read the text on the cards and follow along, so it syncs instantly with strangers or a couples' meetup. The absurd, unexpected twists it creates make it a top-tier icebreaker that shatters awkward vibes in an instant.

Close friends+

♡♡♡♡♡ [Dopamine Explosion] The entertainment tension and dopamine explode when close friends play together. Everyone teaming up to shred a friend who just hit 10 cards and shouted 'Muffin Time!' — forcing card discards, hand swaps, and traps to wreck them in an instant — triggers guaranteed shouting and betrayal 100% of the time.

Strategy+

♡☆☆☆☆ [Undersized] For an intermediate strategist crowd craving tight long-term strategy or precise engine-building, the 100% card luck and absurd sabotage system leaves zero depth of mind games — even as a bridge card, it may feel hollow.

Couple+

♡☆☆☆☆ [Fight Starter] Directly blocking your opponent's win, stealing their hand, and unfairly wrecking them are at the core of this game, and the sabotage is intense. If a couple wanted a peaceful, emotionally healing game just for two, the mood could sour instantly.

Duel+

♡☆☆☆☆ [Why Now?] In 2-player mode, each other's traps and sabotage cards become far too obvious, completely killing the chaotic tangled-web tension that defines this game with more players. You need at least 4 players (5-6 is best) for the sabotage payoff to really shine, so it's a hard no for 1-on-1 play.

Gateway+

♡☆☆☆☆ [Level 1 (Not Recommended)] It's fantastic for delivering instant laughs and chaos, but as a stepping stone toward 'modern strategy board games' that involve managing resources and using systems, it lacks the mechanical depth or sense of accomplishment worth learning from.
