RULES VIDEO

A high-stimulation dice-based Mafia game where you become a Wild West gunslinger, hiding your secret identity (Sheriff, Deputy, Outlaw, Renegade) while rolling dice to snipe each other and survive. On your turn, roll all 5 dice at once, and you can reroll any dice you don't like up to twice. Depending on the die faces, you might instantly shoot the person next to you, heal your health, or take surprise damage from Indians when arrows come up — a fast-paced, masterful party game where the tide turns back and forth tensely with every die choice.

When dice rolls keep coming up nothing but dynamite over and over, leading to repeated hollow rounds where you can't do anything on your turn before blowing yourself up; or when a player who wants to focus on identity deduction and quiet psychological play instead feels fatigued as every plan gets randomly wrecked by the extreme randomness of dice faces.

Scores by situation

New faces+

♡♡♡♡♡ [Crowd-pleaser] The rules explain in 3 minutes, overwhelmingly simpler and more intuitive than the original. It boils down to one sentence — 'act on what the dice show, and reroll if you don't like it' — so even a total board game newcomer can dive in and roll dice wholeheartedly right away. The raw fun of Indian arrows and dynamite explosions popping off with every roll melts an awkward first-meeting mood in just 5 minutes.

Close friends+

♡♡♡♡♡ [Dopamine explosion] Gather close friends around this and every roll erupts into shouting and dopamine. You'll see nonstop moments of finally landing that targeted shot on your worst enemy, or blowing up from 3 dynamites at once in a hilariously unlucky streak. With a much shorter playtime than the original, it's the perfect entertainment cheat code for shouting 'one more!' and enjoying betrayal and chaos all night.

Strategy+

♡☆☆☆☆ [Tier collapse] Dice luck governs over 70% of the game, with no mechanism at all encouraging meticulous tech-building or precise maneuvering. There's far too little room for intermediate strategists to flex their brains, and since it's a full-on party game leaning into hidden identities and psychological jabs, there's no reason to pick it even as a sub game at an advanced strategy table.

Couple+

♡☆☆☆☆ [Built for groups] A game whose backbone is multi-way tangled psychological warfare and deduction among the Sheriff, Deputy, and Outlaws. Since it needs at least 3 players (ideally 5+) for the fun of hidden identities and the multiplayer dice-attack mechanism to run smoothly, two-player play is fundamentally impossible.

Duel+

♡☆☆☆☆ [Built for groups] A multiplayer Mafia-style game whose charm is the chaos of rolling dice to harass an unspecified number of players and stirring up confusion between factions. Two-player play is completely impossible, so it doesn't work at all as an option for a tight 1v1 rival showdown, tactical psychological battle, or chip war.

Gateway+

♡☆☆☆☆ [Why now?] The simple, clear fun of flipping the tide of battle in real time with dice rolls is top-tier, but it's a world away from the fun of 'modern strategy board games' — efficiently managing resources and building an optimal engine. It has no mechanism worth recommending for a beginner trying to experience the deep sense of accomplishment unique to strategy games.
