RULES VIDEO
Building on the tile-laying system of the original Kingdomino, this spin-off sequel greatly deepens the experience by adding a 'volcano mechanism' where volcanic eruptions let you directly adjust regional multipliers (fire), a 'resource system' for gathering mammoths and flint, and a 'caveman tribe system' that spends resources for special scoring. You can choose from 3 modes (Discovery, Totem, Tribe) depending on your preferred difficulty and strategic depth, making this a well-made Euro-style tile game that satisfies everyone from beginners to veterans.
※When a group of close friends is hoping for the fun, loud party tension of biting, needling, and deceiving each other with dopamine and laughter — or when a group of intermediate strategy enthusiasts craving the brain-melting, high-interaction, long-term portfolio design of a heavyweight Euro epic gets together.

Scores by situation
New faces+−
♡♡♡♡☆ [Safe pick] The rules are just as easy as the original Kingdomino, wrapping up the explanation in about 5 minutes. The cute components (like resource tokens) and intuitive visuals make it a fantastic, universally likable, safe choice to enjoy cheerfully even among strangers or a couples' gathering.
Close friends+−
♡♡☆☆☆ [Dopamine shortage] This leans more toward a build-up game where everyone quietly optimizes their own 5x5 hunting ground, rather than stealing resources or trolling one another. If close friends are hoping for loud, chaotic betrayal, politics, and bluffing tension, it might feel like 'quiet math homework' and cool the mood down.
Strategy+−
♡♡♡☆☆ [Side dish strategy] The game is excellent, but it falls a bit short in weight to serve as the 'main course' for a group of intermediate players wanting a heavy mental duel. That said, applying the various modes (like Tribe mode) adds depth, making it a wonderful bridge or warm-up strategy to loosen up before the main game in an intermediate group.
Couple+−
♡♡♡♡☆ [Peaceful weekend] There's little direct interaction ruthlessly wrecking each other's boards, and there's real joy in beautifully decorating your own cute prehistoric Stone Age territory. Perfect for a couple sharing a warm cup of coffee and a peaceful, cozy time together, along with a nice dose of brain-teasing.
Duel+−
♡♡♡☆☆ [One-shot showdown] In two-player games, the fierce jockeying over good tiles and resources (drafting tension) runs surprisingly tight. That said, it's less a high-intensity war game about crushing your opponent and more an efficiency-focused build-up race, making it a light and pleasant choice for a one-off match.
Gateway+−
♡♡♡♡☆ [Recommended gateway] A fantastic stepping stone away from pure luck-driven games, letting you experience the core organic mechanisms of 'modern strategy board games (Euros)' — gathering resources and hiring characters for synergy. Easy to explain while delivering a satisfying dose of brain-teasing and achievement, this is an excellent title.
